In addition to the incredible accommodation at any of the Casas de Sayulita, our guests will have the exclusive advantage of booking a boat trip with Fidel in the Karina. Fidel is Leti's (the housekeeper) husband and you may see him helping out Leti around the houses. If not, just stroll a few steps down to the beach where the boat will be parked on the sand when not in use. You can also try stopping by their house (a few steps in the other direction) where Fidel has a small sign out front advertising the boat.

Since Fidel was born in Sayulita, he never fails to satisfy visitors with a rewarding day fishing, snorkeling, surfing, or just a fun ride up and down the coast admiring the beautiful scenery where the jungle meets the ocean.

The Karina has surf racks with an awning on top so make sure to take advantage of some of the local surf spots that are only available from the water. Early morning and late afternoon are the best times. Try for a low to incoming tide. Troll for dorado (mahi-mahi), sailfish, and sierra (mackeral) on the trip home.

Boat costs are not included in the house rental prices but are inexpensive, usually ranging around $30/hour including boat, gas, guide, and fish cleaning. A small tip is always appreciated.

Let us know in advance and we can help make your upcoming vacation even better by making a reservation with Fidel for you.
